Using Storage Sense to Clear Up Space

Windows 10 and 11 include tools for clearing out old temporary files from your disk. They are a great first stop on your Windows cleanup journey.

1. Click Start and then Settings (Gear Icon).

2. Next, click on System.

3. Next, click Storage.

4. Make sure to turn Storage Sense On. Then click Configure Storage Sense or run it now.

5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Clean Now. This process can take long depending on how much junk is now the PC.
