Email messages containing sensitive financial information within the message body or attached documents will be encrypted when sent to someone outside of GrowthForce. This policy is in place to protect the client and GrowthForce from cyber theft.
The information below describes a typical scenario in which an email message is sent to a client, encrypted, and accessed by the client.
1. An email is sent from within GrowthForce to an external contact.
2. The recipient receives an email notifying them of the availability of an encrypted message.
3. The recipient must provide authentication before accessing the message. Authentication is performed using one of the following processes:
Reading a Protected Message with a Microsoft 365 email account in Outlook

If the recipient is using an Microsoft 365 email account (Exchange, Office 365) in Outlook 2016 or Outlook on the web, you shouldn't have to do anything special to read your message. | If the recipient is using an Microsoft 365 email account (Exchange, Office 365) and is using the Outlook mobile app on Android or iOS, the message should just open. |
Reading a Protected Message with a single-use code
Some email clients and services can't automatically open protected messages. If your client is using Yahoo or another email service provider not listed above, or if the protected message was sent to an external distribution group, they will need to obtain a single-use code to read the message.
